1. Scope
This policy explains how Conel Labs Pvt Ltd (“Conel Labs”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information for the Kathe website, account service and Mac application.
Kathe is designed so project files, scripts and exported videos remain in folders you choose on your Mac. The Kathe account service does not receive those files merely because you sign in or purchase Kathe.
2. Information we handle
Account information
We store your email address, internal account identifier and, when you use Google sign-in, Google’s stable account identifier. We do not store your Google password, access token or refresh token.
Authentication and devices
We process short-lived sign-in links, session records, security and rate-limit data, and information about Macs you approve, such as the device name, session identifier and last-active time. Bearer tokens are stored only in hashed form on our service.
Purchases
We receive transaction identifiers, product, amount, currency, customer identifier, payment status and refund status from Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments processes checkout and payment-card details; Kathe does not store complete card numbers.
Support and technical information
We receive information you include in support messages. Cloudflare may process request metadata such as IP address, user agent, timestamps and security events to deliver and protect the service.
Connected AI providers
When you connect an AI or narration provider in the Mac app, requests go to that provider under your account and its terms. Provider credentials are stored locally by the app and are not sent to the Kathe account service.
3. How we use information
- Authenticate you and maintain secure sessions.
- Confirm purchases, refunds and lifetime entitlement.
- Approve and revoke Mac sessions.
- Deliver requested sign-in emails and support.
- Prevent abuse, investigate failures and protect the service.
- Meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.
5. Retention and deletion
One-time sign-in links expire after ten minutes. Browser and Mac sessions expire or can be revoked. We retain account and entitlement records while your account remains active and keep security records only as reasonably necessary.
If you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify account and device information unless retention is required for fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution or another legal obligation. Payment providers may retain transaction records under their own legal duties.
6. Your choices and rights
You can review approved Macs and revoke their sessions from your account. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy grievance by contacting support.
Kathe is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
7. Security and changes
We use encrypted transport, short-lived authentication flows, hashed session tokens and access controls designed to protect account information. No system is completely secure, so please contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may update this policy as Kathe changes. Material updates will be identified by a revised date on this page.
