How it works

  1. Point it at a plan

    Drop in the plan your coding agent wrote, a spec or an RFC, or pick a repo folder. Kathe breaks it into short episodes. Review the outline first if you like.

  2. Check the scripts

    Each episode gets a script you can edit line by line. Approve what’s right; send the rest back with a note.

  3. Watch, then approve the plan

    Kathe narrates each episode and exports it. Watch in a few minutes, then go back to your agent with what you’d change.

Questions

Which plans does it work with?

Any plan saved as Markdown or plain text: the ones Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other agents write, plus specs, RFCs and design docs. Drop the file in or paste it.

Can it explain a codebase?

Point Kathe at a repo folder and ask about a feature or a module. It reads the files it needs with your connected model and plans a short tour.

Which AI accounts can I connect?

Anthropic, OpenAI or Google for planning and writing, and ElevenLabs for narration. You can also run writing models locally through Ollama. Add your API keys in Settings.

Does my code leave my Mac?

Projects, scripts and videos are saved in a folder on your Mac. When you use a connected cloud provider, the content needed for that request is sent directly to that provider using your key. Local writing models run through Ollama; cloud narration still sends its script to your voice provider.

What does it cost to run?

Kathe itself is $49 once, including all future versions and updates. Writing and voice are billed separately by your providers at their usual rates.

Can I use Kathe on more than one Mac?

Yes. One purchase belongs to your account and covers unlimited personal devices, including simultaneous use. You’ll sign in with the same account on each Mac.

What can I give it, and what comes out?

Plans, specs and source folders go in. Out come scripts you can edit and approve, plus videos in Full HD, HD, vertical or square.
